Melville United, Lotto NRFL champions in 2009 after their Grand Final win over Eastern Suburbs, open their 2010 season with a home clash with United Soccer 1 club Glenfield Rovers.

Last year's Men's Premier League minor premiers Lynn-Avon United AFC entertain East Coast Bays AFC - the 2009 US1 Premiership champions - at Ken Maunder Park.

Suburbs' opening round fixture gives the Kohimarama club the chance for revenge over Waitakere City after the United Soccer 1 club were 5-1 winners when the two met in the third round of last year's Chatham Cup.

Chatham Cup runners-up Three Kings United, one of the two promoted sides from the 2009 Lotto NRFL Division 1 competition, open their Premier League season with a home clash with Bay Olympic while fellow promoted side Ngaruawahia United AFC host Papatoetoe AFC at Centennial Park.

Meanwhile, in the Lotto NRFL Division 1 draw has also produced some interesting opening weekend clashes.

Mangere United open their account by hosting the new side from the Waikato Bay of Plenty Football federation - Matamata Swifts.

Last year's third-placed club, Fencibles United AFC, travel to Cambridge FC while two of the United Soccer 1-based clubs - North Force and Birkenhead United - meet in Tikipunga.

Papakura City FC host North Shore United while 2009 Division 1 wooden-spooners Pukekohe AFC will host Mt Albert-Ponsonby AFC.

The Lotto NRFL Men's Reserve Leagues operate parallel with each NRFL division with matches kicking off prior to the first team clashes.
