Auckland sides take NZFC victories

Jason Hayne, Grant Young and Ki-Hyung Lee were on target as Auckland City FC continued their NZFC winning ways at home to Team Wellington on Sunday.

Hayne opened the scoring before Team Wellington equalised through Greg Draper.

But Young restored the home side's edge 10 minutes after the break before Lee finished the job with a curling free kick five minutes from time.

Meanwhile, Waitakere United did just enough to take all three points over YoungHeart Manawatu at Fred Taylor Park on Saturday.

Brent Fisher found the back of the visitors' net during stoppage time to give Waitakere a 3-2 victory the former All White had scored after half an hour. Tim Myers added Waitakere's second with 12 minutes to go.
