Bay Olympic 0-1 Lynn-Avon Utd AFC (half: 0-1)
Robbie Greenhalgh scored his third goal of the season for the league's top side in their derby win over Bay Olympic at Olympic Park on Saturday.
Greenhalgh's 14th minute effort was all that was needed to secure the win for Shane Knowles' team who move to 21 points from eight matches, five clear of second-placed Melville United. Kim Beale's Bay Olympic side stay in sixth spot, with eight points from eight outings.
Greenhalgh and Jono Key were picked out by Beale as Lynn-Avon's most dangerous weapons while Bay Olympic's Jared Colligan and Arash Sadeghi likewise by Knowles.
Eastern Suburbs AFC 0-3 Melville Utd (half: 0-0)
Three second half goals to the visitors saw Suburbs drop points (and players) at home for the first time this season.
Steven Holloway, Gavin Douglas and Che Bunce (who sits top of the barfifa Men's Premier League Golden Boot table with seven), were on target for Melville against a nine-man Suburbs team who had both Ben Hunt and leading scorer Sung Bae Park dismissed by referee Martin Neale.
David South and David Samson were the top performers for the visitors in the eyes of Suburbs' coach Sean Douglas while Yoshitaka Ogawa and substitute Allan Pearce among the home side's ranks for Steve Williams.
