The Diamonds - coached by Jeff Mitchell and Dwayne Dundon - went through the tournament unbeaten in their six matches and did not concede a goal on their way to the title.
They claimed a 1-0 victory over Waikato Bay of Plenty A in the final, courtesy of a goal to tournament Golden Boot winner Olivia Willetts (Pukekohe AFC). Willetts scored eight goals in total during the tournament.
The AFF Sapphires girls side - coached by Steven Upfold and Kerry Douglas finished fourth after a 1-0 loss to Harbour A in the third and fourth placed playoff.
The AFF Rubies team - coached by Rich Byrne and Nicola Demaine - took out the Plate section of the girls competition.
The AFF Spurs side - coached by Scott MacKay and Aaron McFarland - were beaten 2-1 in the boys' final by Harbour A.
The AFF Storm - coached by Rowan Adams and Simon Richards - finished third courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Waikato Bay of Plenty A in their final match.
The AFF Strikers - coached by Mike Murray - finished in fifth spot after their 5-2 win over Matt Jorgensen's AFF Stars side in the game deciding fifth/sixth spot.
Overall it was a very successful tournament for the Auckland Football sides with all four boys teams finishing inside the top six while all three of the girls squads were placed inside the top five.
